Special
Reskies Needing Homes
Bonnie
Bonnie is a very special Reskie. Bonnie and her
sister, Bandit, now 10 years old, were adopted from American Eskimo
Rescue at eight weeks of age. Bonnie and Bandit were returned
by the family to American Eskimo Rescue recently because the family
did not want them any longer. Bandit has been adopted by her new
family. However, Bonnie came in with aggressive cancer on her
leg and in order to live she needed her leg removed. Bonnie has
now had surgery and is healing very well. Bonnie is cancer-free.
She is a wonderful Eskie-Border Collie mix and will give someone
lots of love and devotion. For more information on Bonnie, please
call 314-647-1112 or Email info@eskierescuestl.org.

Kasper and Kasey (can
be adopted together or separately)
Kasper and Kasey are also two very special Reskies. They, too,
were adopted to a “forever family” at the age of one
and then returned. They are now eight to nine years old. Both
were returned because the family “did not want them any
longer.” Both Reskies are sweet dogs that get along well
with other dogs and are very friendly. Their health is good, and
they are up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and housebroken.
Kasper and Kasey can be adopted together or separately. Help us
find them “forever” homes.

Mike
Mike is about 17 months old. He is a smart, energetic American
Eskimo dog. Mike still acts and plays as a young puppy. Mike is
high energy and will need a fenced yard. He is neutered, up to
date on vaccinations, microchipped, and housebroken. Mike also
will need another dog in the household to play with because he
loves playing with other dogs. He also enjoys long walks, car
rides, and playing in the yard. Mike will benefit from further
training. He is definitely a very cute Reskie but he will need
a family who can keep up with him!

Maxwell
Maxwell was adopted from American Eskimo Rescue when he was a
year old. Maxwell is now about eight years old. His owners gave
up Maxwell so he is with American Eskimo Rescue. Maxwell may need
to be an only dog but could probably live with a “laid-back”
dog. Maxwell is good with cats. We don’t think Maxwell was
taken very good care of toward the end as he was tied up outside
and came in with a bad flea infestation. The skin condition has
cleared up and is in good shape. Maxwell needs a forever home
and one that will be able to help Maxwell along the way. Max’s
foster mom reports that “he really is a sweet boy.”
Max doesn’t deserve what he got – but at least the
family returned him to the association. Maxwell needs his forever
family. Can you help?

Special note: If you would like any more information about these
wonderful Reskies, please call 314-647-1112 or Email info@eskierescuestl.org
– thank you very much.
Will you help us foster?
Foster homes are desperately needed. With foster homes, we can
rescue and save the Reskies. American Eskimo Rescue of St. Louis
does not have a shelter. The association rescues and needs foster
homes to house these wonderful Reskies. The association pays for
all medical bills at approved veterinarian offices and will provide
food. A foster home assignment can last from six weeks to six
months. Help rescue, foster, and find “forever homes”
for these dogs that are lost, given up, or found as strays. Thank
you for considering this important decision.
