These two beautiful female Eskies (5 to 6 years old) were turned
in to an animal shelter by their owner who could not keep them
any longer. They would have been put to sleep if we had not rescued
them. They are spayed, up to date on vaccinations, know some great
tricks, and are good with other dogs. They are high energy and
would need someone to be involved with them (walking, playing,
and continuing their tricks!) IMPORTANT: A FOSTER HOME IS NEEDED
FOR THEM. If you can help, please call 314-647-1112. Thank you
very much.
WANTED:
A Special Foster Home for a Special-Needs Reskie
Luke is a special-needs Reskie. He is about 6 to 7 years old, up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, housebroken, and crate-trained. Luke was used as a backyard breeding dog and was not socialized with people (he is fine with other dogs). He lived his life breeding and was not taken care of in the right way. No one cared about his health or his socialization. They just bred him for money, basically ruining any chances of Luke becoming a “normal” dog. Abuse more than likely took place, as he is afraid of men. Luke is also afraid of getting tangled up in his leash – so he may have been tied out or chained. Luke is very smart but is anxious when there is a male figure inside the home. Luke needs someone who can work with him with patience and understanding. Luke will be devoted to whoever takes care of him and this would probably be a woman or a soft-spoken male person or couple. In his comfortable situation, Luke excels as a devoted, adoring Eskie. He learns quickly and desires routine. He enjoys car rides, short walks, and adoring his owner. He is no trouble to take care of but needs someone to understand that he has been abused and needs to be kept in a safe environment. If you would like to meet Luke or need further information, please call 314-647-1112. An Eskie rep will be delighted to speak with you about Luke, as he is very well liked in our association. That is why we want the best situation for Luke. Thank you.

Foster Homes Needed for INCOMING RESKIES
Foster Homes are needed for incoming dogs. If you are able to foster an American Eskimo dog, please call 314-647-1112 or Email info@eskierescuestl.org as soon as possible. Unfortunately, this is “SPRING CLEANING” time so the dog has to go! Many dogs need to be rescued from situations of neglect, abuse, and overcrowded shelters. Please open your door to help one dog. It is a very rewarding experience to know that you have helped save a dog’s life. All vet care will be covered as well as food. All you (the foster family) need to provide is TLC. Thank you! Time is critical.
With each purchase through iGive, a percentage is donated to
American Eskimo Rescue of St. Louis to help the homeless Eskies.
