Elivis Presley
Age: 1.5 years old
Weight: 25 pounds
Shots: Up to date
Neutered: yes
Comments: Elvis has left the farm! Elvis is now in our adoption program. He is about 1.5 years old, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Elvis is an owner turn-in and he lived on a farm outside of St. Louis. He had the “run of the land” so to speak. He’s a very nice dog, sweet, likes people and other dogs. He does not get along with cats. Elvis is young and has a lot of energy. He will do better in a fenced yard, although we adopt our dogs as inside dogs. Obedience training will benefit Elvis and his new family. Elvis is an American Eskimo mix, and we are unsure of what the other half (or so) may be. He’s a nice dog.
Charlie
Age: 1 year old
Weight: 22 pounds
Shots: Up to date
Neutered: yes
Comments: Charlie is a very sweet, active young Eskie. Charlie was tied up to a tree and then a family in the neighborhood rescued him and then brought him to rescue. Charlie will need a fenced yard to play in, although we adopt our Eskies as "inside" dogs. Charlie is lots of fun and will be your best friend.
Comments: Shadow is a young American Eskimo dog who is very sweet. Shadow was kept in a fenced porch under a vacant house with a hole in the fence to place his food and water. We don't know how anyone could be so cruel as to keep a dog under a porch. Shadow is a great eskie!
Age: 7-8 years old
Weight: 15 pounds
Shots: Up to date
Neutered: Yes
UPDATE FOR JORY:
Jory was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. It is inoperable and he is not a candidate for canine chemotherapy. Since his diagnosis, we are looking for a family to make Jory comfortable and feel at home. He is such a sweet little boy and needs someone to take care of him now. Jory is active and he loves to go for walks and be involved with his family. Please let us know if you are interested in adopting Jory or fostering him. We will help with his medical fees. We don’t want Jory to spend his days in a “boarding facility,” so we’re hoping someone will speak up for him. This will be a long-term foster commitment (or adoption). We don’t want to be moving Jory from foster home to foster home, so we are hoping to find a family who will be committed to helping Jory. He is such a Joy to be around, too. Thank you very much for your careful consideration.
Comments: Jory is a very sweet American Eskimo dog. He came from a shelter in Kansas City, Missouri. He was stray for a long time and in pretty bad shape after being caught up in the flooding area. Jory is up to date on shots, microchipped and housebroken. Jory loves people and gets along fine with other dogs. Jory will be a good addition any family and would love a fenced yard.
Tundra
Age: 3 years old
Weight: 25 pounds
Shots: Up to date
Neutered: Yes
Tundra – UPDATE as of July 8, 2010
Update: Tundra came to us with a severely injured leg from an old injury. Someone tried to fix the leg and this care was unsuccessful. Apparently, the leg healed wrong and became not functional to Tundra. After careful consideration with the vets/doctors, it was decided that Tundra’s leg could not be saved. Tundra had been functioning as a three-legged dog because the leg was not functional. Good news though, Tundra is doing very well as a three-legged dog and will warm your heart. For more information on Tundra, please call 314-647-1112. Thank you.
Comments: What a sweet boy. Tundra was turned in by his owner who could not afford him any longer. This little boy is a special boy, too. He is fine with people, other dogs, and cats. In fact, his best girlfriend is a cat. Tundra just wants to please his owner. If you are interested in learning more about Tundra, please call. He is about three years old, up to date on shots, and neutered.
