HELP US HELP THE RESKIES!  Donations are Needed

Because of rising costs at local veterinarian offices, American Eskimo Rescue of St. Louis must pay more for medical expenses than in previous years. If we raise the adoption fee, we are fearful that adopters will be reluctant to adopt. Rising costs are affecting many rescue groups in the St. Louis area.

Each Eskie we rescue comes in with some illness; for example, kennel cough, heartworm disease, fecal worms, and most are not spayed or neutered so we have to do that as well before a Reskie can go to his forever home. In addition to treating the illnesses, we provide the following routine care before a dog is adopted: Rabies, Bordatella, Fecal Test, Heartworm Test, DHLPP, (distemper/parvo), Heartworm Preventative, Flea Preventative, Microchip, Bath/grooming. Unfortunately, the Reskies don't come with a pocket full of change nor any shot records.
