Here is information on how you can HELP us help the Reskies:
1. Donations can be made online
through PayPal:
(if you don't have a PAYPAL account, you can still use a Credit
Card for a Secure Donation)
2. We accept donations by check,
cash, money orders, and online (PayPal). Donations should be
made payable to American Eskimo Rescue of St. Louis and mailed

3. In Memorandum. If you would like to make
a donation in memory of a family member, friend, or special
pet.. We would be honored to accept a donation in the name
of someone special in your life.
4. Vehicle Donation:
If you have a vehicle to donate, we would be happy to accept
this type of donation. Call 314-647-1112 if you would like us
to take the vehicle in support of the Reskies.
5. Schnucks eScript Community Card:
AER will earn up to 3% when
families participate in the Schnucks eScrip Community Card program.
Here’s how to participate:
a) Pick up
a card at any Schnucks store, or call AER and have a card mailed
to you.
b) Activate your card by calling 1-800-931-6258;
be sure to mention you want donations to go to American Eskimo
Rescue of St. Louis.
c) When checking out at a Schnucks store, swip
your registered card each time you make a purchase at Schnucks.
Up to 3% of your monthly purchases will automatically be contributed
to American Eskimo Rescue. Use your card each time you shop!
6. Macy’s Department Stores. Sign
up for the Macy’s eScrip program by calling 1-800-931-6258.
You’ll need to register your Macy’s credit card
to. A portion of your sales will be donated to American Eskimo
Rescue of St. Louis.
7. Other eScrip Merchants. Sign up with eScrip.
Local eScrip merchants will contribute up to 8% of the purchases
you make to American Eskimo Rescue. To sign up, visit www.escrip.com,
click on “sign-up,” and follow the instructions.
Be sure to sign up for American Eskimo Rescue of St. Louis.
8. Autos for Animals! Purchase an auto from
George Webster Chevrolet in Columbia, Illinois, and American
Eskimo Rescue will earn $100 for either a used or new car. Call
toll free at 1-800-784-1155 and ask for Jonathan Hegger. See
the flyer.
9. Match Gifts. Check with your employer
to see if they have a “Matching Gifts Program.”
If you make a donation to your favorite charity, they will match
the gift.
HELP US HELP THE RESKIES! Donations are Needed
Because of rising costs at local
veterinarian offices, American Eskimo Rescue of St. Louis must
pay more for medical expenses than in previous years. If we
raise the adoption fee, we are fearful that adopters will be
reluctant to adopt. Rising costs are affecting many rescue groups
in the St. Louis area.
Each Eskie we rescue comes in
with some illness; for example, kennel cough, heartworm disease,
fecal worms, and most are not spayed or neutered so we have
to do that as well before a Reskie can go to his forever home.
In addition to treating the illnesses, we provide the following
routine care before a dog is adopted: Rabies, Bordatella, Fecal
Test, Heartworm Test, DHLPP, (distemper/parvo), Heartworm Preventative,
Flea Preventative, Microchip, Bath/grooming. Unfortunately,
the Reskies don't come with a pocket full of change nor any
shot records.
