Fostering for American Eskimo Rescue
is Greatly Needed

American Eskimo Rescue of St. Louis needs foster homes to help an Eskie get to his or her forever home. A foster commitment can last from 3 weeks to 5 weeks. Without foster homes, we cannot save these precious dogs. A common response is: "If I foster a dog, I may not be able to give it up." This is a very natural response. Foster families give an Eskie a chance to go home. The end result is so rewarding that you helped get the Eskie to a forever home by providing temporary housing and care.

From time to time, we receive 'special care' dogs that may need to be nursed in preparing for their permanent home. They require lots of love and attention and this a great opportunity for a foster family to give the gift of hospitality.

We also need volunteers to help with transporting, working adoption events, and handling other adoption-related activities and tasks.
